The following testimonials were written by just some of my happy sellers and buyers. They have all been kind enough to give me permission to show you their correspondence. Their letters and words are very gratifying. It seems that my down-to-earth and honest approach has earned me many friends - I think that's fantastic!

Having lived on the prairies all our lives, retiring to Victoria had been our long-time dream. Unfortunately, the real estate market we discovered when we arrived was a buyer’s nightmare. Not just buyers, but many Realtors were intimidated by lack of inventory, constantly rising prices and sales well over asking.

Sharon was not intimidated. She worked incredibly hard for us, finding potential properties and dealing effectively with other Realtors to find us a home we love in our preferred James Bay neighbourhood, one of the tightest areas of a very tight market. Despite our criteria, which we knew was challenging, she never suggested we settle for a property we didn’t really love, or compromise on location. If we became discouraged she always reassured us that our place was out there – and thanks to her hard work, it was!

Throughout the process we felt that we were working with someone who really knew what she was doing and understood how to deal with a super-heated real estate market. She was thorough, highly professional, tireless and absolutely fearless. She was always available and constantly a pleasure to deal with – pleasant, unflappable and with a terrific sense of humour.

Thanks to Sharon’s thorough understanding of the market, strategic thinking and negotiating skills we found a home we’re extremely happy with - and we feel that we got it at an excellent value. We admire Sharon’s professionalism and knowledge and would not hesitate to recommend her very highly.

It's been almost a year since we moved into our new home and we have been so busy with the yard, renovations, and enjoying our new neighbourhood we have not had a chance to tell you how grateful we are for your hard work.

I think at one point we counted 70 properties that we went through together and of course there were the few very "alternate" ones that you patiently researched by spending hours as the various municiple offices to obtain copies of the bylaws, changes to occupancy, information on taxes etc. Even though I'm sure that your experience could tell you we would end up with something different you always made it seem like our questions were valid and worth the effort.

I remember somewhere in the long process (thanks for being so patient) you mentioned you loved to negotiate, thank god for that if you had not gotten to know us so well you would not have been able to pass our personal tidbits on to the seller which ultimately helped him make his decision. In this case it was not just the money involved and it was your attention to detail and going the extra mile gave us a home.

From the initial meeting to figure out what we thought we wanted to the end when we figured out what we really wanted you helped us not only with the real estate but gave us options for people to deal with for our mortgage and our lawyer which not only saved time but gave us a sense of security that they were competent and professional.

We love our new home and not only would you be the first person we would call when we are ready for a change, you are already always the first name that I suggest. Thank you!!

My wife and I met Sharon while searching for an investment/rental condo in Victoria.

"We had wanted to move to Victoria, BC for some time. Mainly to escape the long winters and 'big city' problems in Calgary. After visiting friends who had left Calgary a year earlier and moved into a beautiful heritage home in Rockland (using Sharon's help), we decided to take the plunge. Our friends highly recommended Sharon and on their advice and commendation, we started viewing homes. Sharon zeroed in on what we wanted in short order and we viewed dozens of homes in our chosen neighbourhoods of Oak Bay and Rockland. We found our home after close to a year of diligent work from Sharon and we couldn't be more happy! As we were still living in Calgary during our search we only visited Victoria 3 times during that year and Sharon was incredibly helpful keeping us informed, inspecting homes on our behalf and encouraging a final trip west when she had found 'the one'. She was quick to assess our wants/needs, likes and dislikes and didn't waste our time unless she really felt a property was worth getting on a plane for which we appreciated immensely. She helped us with advice , various info and contacts we'd need in Victoria as well as comforting support of all the things we would be needing to organize for our move to a new province and new city. She was even able to calm our worries about taking our cat on its first flight. The only people we knew in Victoria were our friends whom she had also helped and Sharon has continued a wonderful friendship with us since our arrival which has been lovely.
